THE ORDINARY/CARBON THEORY SKINCARE HAUL | Lauren's Lifestyle

Don't know if it's just me, but I thought spending time at home with no makeup on would help my skin, but that's not panned out as I hoped! My skin is going through a weird patch right now, and after some research online I saw may people raving about The Ordinary and Carbon Theory's products, so I decided to do an online order from Beauty Bay and here's what I purchased:
I had seen quite a few people reviewing The Ordinary's coverage foundation on YouTube and they all seemed pretty positive. The foundation that I wear ran out a few weeks ago so I was in need of a new one. This one only has 15 SPF, so not as much as I'd like but I can always make up for that with my moisturiser/sunscreen.

The main issue I've been having with my skin is breakouts - it seems to be every week recently, and nothing is working for me. I was forever seeing an advert for this product - the Carbon Theory Charcoal and Tea Tree oil Breakout control facial cleansing bar. After reading more about it, it seemed like it might help my skin - here's to hoping. Usually, tea tree works really well with my skin, so I'm feeling optimistic about this product.  

I was after something more natural that would help hydrate my skin. My face has been quite dry recently, even though I'm not flying (which usually is the main cause for my dry skin). I went for the 100% Plant-Derived Squalane. It's labelled as an 'exceptional hydrator' so I'm looking forward to seeing how true that is. 

I follow a lot of dermatologists on social media and every single one of them talks about the importance of vitamin C. It is meant to brighten skin and reduce the signs of ageing, so I'm going to make it part of my everyday skincare routine from now on.
